1. Discovery Phase: Finding Inventory
You have three ways to discover OOH inventory:
Smart Search (Natural Language)
Purpose: Find inventory using conversational queries instead of manual filters
How it works:
Type natural language queries like "Show me billboards targeting wine drinkers in Chicago"
AI translates your intent into structured filters
Results display in the Inventory Table below
Refine through follow-up questions
What you can search for:
Geographic targets: Markets, ZIP codes, specific locations/venues
Audience segments: 25 behavioral audience categories (wine drinkers, gym visitors, etc.)
Demographics: Age, income, gender, ethnicity (20 total categories)
Inventory types: Billboards, Street Furniture, Place-Based, Transit
Performance rankings: "Top 10 billboards by reach"
Tips for effective searches:
Be specific about your target audience
Mention geographic areas clearly
Ask follow-up questions to refine results
Request "top performers" if you want ranked inventory
Manual Filtering
Purpose: Direct control over filter parameters for systematic inventory discovery
Available filters:
Geography: Market or ZIP code selection
Audience Segments: Select from 25 behavioral categories
Demographics: Choose from 20 demographic options
Inventory Types: Billboards, Street Furniture, Place-Based, Transit (with specific format options)
Index Threshold: Minimum audience performance index (100 = benchmark average)
When to use:
You know exactly what filters you want
Building on existing filter sets systematically
Need precise control over all parameters
Upload Geopath/Owner IDs
Purpose: Quickly find specific inventory units you already know
How it works:
Upload a list of Geopath IDs or Owner IDs
System retrieves those specific inventory units
View performance metrics for your pre-selected inventory
2. Review Phase: Inventory Table & Map
Inventory Table:
Displays all inventory matching your filters
Sortable columns for key metrics
Select inventory for detailed analysis or scenario building
Key columns:
Inventory ID: Unique identifier for each unit
Inventory Type: Billboard, Street Furniture, Place-Based, or Transit category
Market/Location: Geographic placement
Impressions: Projected exposure metrics (Gross, Viewable, Qualified)
Audience Indexes: Performance scores vs. benchmarks
Interactive Map:
Visual display of inventory locations
Click markers to see details
Geographic context for coverage assessment
3. Analysis Phase: Inventory Drawer
Purpose: Deep dive into individual inventory unit performance before selection
How to access:
Click any inventory unit from the table
Drawer opens with detailed metrics and insights
What you'll see:
Overview Tab:
Location and format details
Key performance summary
Audience alignment highlights
Metrics Tab:
Impressions (Gross, Viewable, Qualified) across durations
Reach and frequency projections
Performance by time period
Audience Tab:
Demographic composition breakdowns
Audience segment index scores
Benchmark comparisons (National, Market, or ZIP level)
AI Chat in Inventory Drawer:
You can interact with AI about the selected inventory in two modes:
Mode 1: Smart Search (Default)
AI answers questions about all inventory in your current search
Continues your broader inventory exploration
Mode 2: Unit-Specific Chat (Toggle ON)
Click toggle: "Interacting with Unit ID: [unit_id]"
AI focuses exclusively on the currently selected inventory unit
Ask detailed questions about this specific unit's performance
Perfect for deep evaluation before adding to scenario
Example questions for Unit-Specific mode:
"How does this unit perform for my target audience?"
"What are the peak performance hours for this location?"
"Is this unit suitable for a wine brand campaign?"
Switching back:
Toggle OFF to return to Smart Search mode
Continue exploring other inventory options
4. Selection Phase: Building Your Media Plan
Selected Inventory Tab:
Shows all units you've added for scenario building
Review your selections before creating scenarios
Remove units if needed
For Transit Inventory:
Specify quantity (number of packages)
Specify Share of Voice (SOV) for digital displays (1-100%)
For Stationary Inventory:
Each unit represents a specific location
SOV applies to digital formats only
5. Scenario Phase: Campaign Projection & Analysis
Creating Scenarios:
Click "Create Scenario" from Selected Inventory tab
System processes projections for 1, 4, 8, and 12-week durations
Scenario appears in Scenarios Tab
Scenario Tab Features:
Performance Projections:
Impressions: Gross, Viewable, Qualified across all durations
Uniques: Unduplicated audience reach
Frequency: Average exposures per person
Reach %: Market penetration percentage
GRPs/TRPs: Gross Rating Points and Target Rating Points
Duration Comparison:
Compare 1-week vs. 4-week vs. 8-week vs. 12-week performance
Identify optimal duration for reach and frequency balance
Assess efficiency patterns (diminishing returns in longer flights)
Audience Assessment:
Index scores for all 25 behavioral segments
Demographic performance across 20 categories
Alignment with your targeting objectives
AI Chat in Scenarios:
Ask questions about scenario performance
Compare duration options
Request external context (events, weather, market conditions)
Assess goal alignment when you provide objectives
Example questions:
"How does the 8-week scenario compare to 4-week?"
"What audience segments perform strongest?"
"Are there any major events during this timeframe that could impact performance?"
6. History Tab: Tracking Your Work
What's saved:
All Smart Search queries
Selected inventory across sessions
Created scenarios
Purpose: Return to previous searches and selections without starting over
