Free plan users can upload audio and video files and try out Subanana's transcription features. The Free plan has the following basic limits: you can upload up to 3 files per month, the transcription content you can generate each month totals at most 1 hour, and each file can be up to 3 GB. Files upload in full, but the system only generates — and lets you view — the first 15 minutes of each file (including subtitle generation, the transcript, and the AI meeting summary); the rest is not processed.
Content that covers only the beginning is not a file error: on the Free plan, the generated duration is the first 15 minutes of the file. If you notice that the generated content (such as the transcript or meeting summary) covers only the beginning and stops partway through, this is because the Free plan only processes the first 15 minutes — the file is not broken and nothing is missing. You can unlock the full content by upgrading (see "How to unlock the full content of a file" below).
The free trial of live captions and translation has its own shorter limit of 5 minutes per session, counted separately from the 15-minute file-processing allowance.
Subscribing to any paid plan unlocks the full content of your files, raises the number of files you can upload and the minutes you can generate each month, and supports files of up to 15 GB and up to 3 hours long. You can also download subtitles and documents and export watermark-free videos (up to 4K).

How to unlock the full content of a file (beyond the first 15 minutes)
If your content stops after the first 15 minutes, there is no need to re-upload the file or create a new project. After upgrading to a paid plan, open the project in the editor and use "Continue generating transcript" (transcript / meeting summary projects) or "Continue generating subtitles" (subtitle projects) at the point where the content cuts off. The system will then continue generating the same uploaded file from the 15-minute cut-off point and merge the result into the existing project; usage is deducted only for the remaining duration (the file's total length minus 15 minutes).
If your file meets all the limits above but still fails to upload, the file may be corrupted, or the tool may not support that particular format. If this happens, we recommend converting the file to another format and then trying to upload it again.
