When your paid plan expires or is not renewed, your account is not deleted and you can still log in. An expired plan is simply lapsed — it is not a debt. This article explains the Free plan's limits, how to re-subscribe, and how to fill in content that was left unfinished because of the free limits after you re-subscribe.
After a paid plan lapses, your account returns to the Free plan, and the Free plan's limits apply to any processing and exports from then on. In other words, projects you previously completed on a paid plan remain in your account, but if you export them again after the lapse, the Free plan's limits apply (for example, you cannot download subtitle/transcript files, and video exports are capped at 720p with a watermark). To unlock these features again, simply re-subscribe.
1. Free plan limits (for reference)
Once your account is back on the Free plan, the following limits apply to subsequent processing:
Only the first 15 minutes of each file are generated: after you upload a file, the system only generates the first 15 minutes of content (transcript / subtitles / AI summary); the rest is not processed. (Real-time subtitle translation has a separate one-time 5-minute trial — it does not renew.)
Monthly processing allowance: the Free plan lets you upload 3 files per month.
No subtitle or transcript file downloads: the Free plan cannot download subtitles or transcripts; this feature is exclusive to paid plans.
Exports capped at 720p, with a watermark: videos exported on the Free plan are capped at 720p and carry the default watermark. Paid plans can export up to 4K and hide the default watermark.
Each file can be up to 30GB and 8 hours long — the same per-file limits as the paid plans.
Line-by-line text edits in the editor (inline correction) are not limited by plan — even on the Free plan you can directly edit the text of your retained projects in the editor; the Free plan's limits only take effect at export/download.
2. Re-subscribe to unlock paid features
To unlock paid features again — downloads, watermark-free exports, and so on — you can re-subscribe to a paid plan. Re-subscribing is self-serve: click your avatar in the top-right corner of the page → "Billing" to reactivate.
The plans (billed yearly, shown as the equivalent per month) are as follows:
Lite: HK$68/month (billed yearly), 720 minutes per year
Pro: HK$138/month (billed yearly), 2,160 minutes per year
Max: HK$398/month (billed yearly), 7,200 minutes per year (already includes the +1,440 bonus minutes from the limited-time free offer)

Upgrades and plan changes use a "minutes carry over and features carry up" mechanism: all unused minutes from your old plan roll over to the new plan, you gain the new plan's advanced features, there is no price difference to make up, and the upgrade takes effect immediately.
3. Filling in content left unfinished by the free 15-minute limit
If a file only had its first 15 minutes generated because of the Free plan's 15-minute limit, then after re-subscribing to a paid plan you can open that project in the editor and use "Continue generating transcript" (transcript / meeting summary) or "Continue generating subtitles" (subtitle projects) to fill in the remaining content after the 15-minute mark for the same uploaded file. There is no need to re-upload, and only the remaining duration is deducted from your minutes.
4. About expiry and payment
A paid plan expiring simply means the plan has lapsed — it is not a debt. If it lapsed because a renewal payment failed, the system does not automatically retry that payment, no amount is owed, and the related payment-failure notifications will also stop. You can re-subscribe at any time to restore paid features (avatar → "Billing").
💡 After you re-subscribe, your previously completed projects immediately regain the paid plan's export and download permissions; to fill in content for files left unfinished during the free period, use the "Continue generating" feature in the editor.
