What should I do if the upload screen is cut off, the "Next" button is hidden, or my file won't upload?
If you run into any of the following while uploading a file:
The upload screen does not display fully — you cannot see the whole screen or continue.
Buttons such as "Next" are covered, pushed off screen, or cannot be clicked.
A file appears to be selected, but the upload never succeeds.
One common cause is a third-party browser extension interfering with how the page displays. Some extensions (for example ad blockers, translation tools, screenshot tools, password managers, or tools that change the page layout) modify how a page displays and behaves, which can cause the issues above in the upload interface. Whatever the cause, the steps below will help you confirm and resolve the problem.
Troubleshooting steps
Open Subanana in an incognito/private window.
Incognito mode disables most extensions by default. Sign in again in an incognito window and retry the upload. If the problem disappears, an extension is most likely the cause.
Disable your browser extensions.
Back in a normal window, disable your extensions one by one (or disable them all first), then refresh the Subanana page and try again. Once you confirm the problem is resolved, re-enable them one at a time to find the extension causing the conflict.
Try a different browser.
If the steps above do not resolve it, open Subanana in a different browser (for example Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox) and try again.
Once done, try uploading your file again.
If the problem persists, contact us at hello@subanana.com or via the in-app live chat, and include which browser and extensions you are using so we can assist further. We usually reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, Hong Kong time).
