Yes. Subanana has a "share link" feature that lets others view your project results (subtitles, transcript, or AI meeting summary). Here's how sharing works and what access it grants.
Sharing via a link (link + QR code)
Link sharing is available on all plans (including personal workspaces):
On the project page, click "Share".
In the share window, change the link access from "Restricted access" to "Anyone with this link can view".
A share link is generated — you can "Copy link" or share it as a "QR code".
The other person just opens the link and views it in their browser — no app installation needed.
What does the other person see after opening the link?
Shared content is always a read-only view — the other person can only view your project, not edit it. What they see differs slightly depending on whether they're signed in:
Signed-in users who "Save to my workspace": they can view the whole project in full in their "Shared with me" (still read-only).
Visitors who aren't signed in: they only see a preview — roughly the first minute of the project, with a "Preview" badge and a free sign-up prompt to "Save to my workspace". Text content cannot be copied while in preview.
Inviting members in a team / organization workspace
If you use an organization workspace, the share window also lets you invite workspace members by name or email to view the project (also read-only). Personal workspaces only offer the link sharing described above.
Can we "edit" the same project together?
Editing together at the same time: not yet. Sharing supports viewing only. Two people cannot edit the same project simultaneously, and all subtitle changes are made by the project owner in their own editor.
A shared workspace with a shared pool of minutes: yes, and it is available now. Several people each sign in with their own account, draw from one subscription's minutes, and can share projects directly with named members of the workspace. It is not self-serve yet — we set it up for you. Email hello@subanana.com with roughly how many people will use it and what you need it to do.
Shares inside a team workspace are read-only, the same as link shares. For larger organisations, ask about Enterprise with custom pricing at the same address.
Want to hand over files that can be edited in other tools?
If you'd like the other person to keep working in their own tools, export the file from the editor and hand it over. Formats include subtitle files (.srt / .vtt), Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), plain text (.txt), Markdown (.md), or a video with the subtitles burned in (MP4).
Disabling a share link
You can disable the link at any time by changing the access back to "Restricted access" in the share window; once the link is disabled, anyone opening it sees a "link no longer valid" message.
Note: share links for real-time transcription and translation
"Real-time transcription & translation" has its own separate share link (link or QR code) that lets on-site or remote audiences watch the subtitles and translations live. It's for live events only and is not the same as the project view link described above.
