December 30th 2025 Releases

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Smarter controls, clearer data, and smoother execution, this release focuses on removing friction across admin workflows, sales execution, and project operations. With more flexible reporting, better proposal logic, and scalable project controls, teams can move faster while staying accurate and compliant.

Stronger Systems, Less Admin Drag

This update sharpens how your backend works behind the scenes. Reports are now more flexible, letting you define created-date ranges by start and end day of the week, so your data aligns better with how your teams actually operate. Job stage inputs are smarter too, dependent fields are now visible across all stages (not just the selected one), with a clear hierarchy and stage reference so teams always know where data is coming from.

Solar adders now include a new “Available For” control, making it easy to decide whether an adder is usable by EPCs, connected sales orgs, or both. Template workflows just got smarter. Document Templates are now renamed as Document Triggers and relocated to the Document Manager, making it easier to manage templates from a single place while improving discoverability and reuse across teams. A new mounting-type form dynamically appears in HIC based on selection (solar only), and non-system add-on document types can now be tied directly to proposals across all job types.

To round it out, battery customer forms now support selecting both the battery and the battery type, giving you more accuracy upfront. Need contractor data to stay consistent across the system? The new Permit Contractor Information section in Organization Details ensures contractor-specific details flow correctly into permit submissions, improving accuracy and reducing manual corrections later in the process.

Faster Deals, Fewer Disruptions

Sales teams get cleaner signals and fewer surprises. A new Add-On System field in solar details lets reps mark non-system add-ons as “Yes” or “No,” ensuring the correct HIC contract is generated automatically at signing. Welcome Call workflows are also easier to manage, customer records can now be filtered using a date range, helping teams prioritize follow-ups and keep pipelines moving efficiently.

To speed up your site layouts, the AI design tool now supports multi-panel selection, letting you drag and move entire groups of panels in one go.

Faster Funding, Fewer Steps

Finance workflows are now more adaptive to Sunlight updates. Counter-offers automatically generate a new finance card for the qualified product while retiring the original quote, helping teams avoid confusion and maintain clean financing records.

Teams can also sync financing by entering a Sunlight application ID, allowing finance details to update or create new cards as needed across solar, roofing, and HVAC jobs, with no additional rework.

Built to Scale With Your Projects

Project handling is now more flexible and scalable. Fields are no longer locked to a single stage, admins can create fields independently and drag them into multiple stages, keeping them editable where needed and read-only elsewhere. Exporting just got easier too, with support for exporting up to 500 projects at once, instead of only the current page.

Manual projects now allow customer addresses to be added and edited directly within the project, reducing back-and-forth. You can also enable a standard AM/PM date and time format across projects for clearer visibility. Appointment management is also more transparent, with a new project-level view that shows all scheduled appointments tied to a project in one place.

Finally, service maintenance workflows expand with the ability to add new service statuses directly from the database, keeping long-term service tracking clean and customizable.

That’s only the start. Dive deeper into detailed guides, walkthroughs, and best practices in the SubcontractorHub Knowledge Base. Your next time-saving feature might already be waiting for you.
