How to Add Customer-Facing Notes to Proposals

Customer-facing notes allow sales reps to add notes to a proposal that are meant specifically for the customer. Once the feature is enabled by the organization admin, these notes can be added in the proposal builder. They will appear on the public proposal and also carry over to the project if the proposal is marked Closed Won and converted into a project.

Follow the steps below to add customer-facing notes to your proposals.

Step 1: From your customer’s proposal page, click “View Detail” to enter the proposal builder.

Step 2: Click the “Customer Facing Notes” tab on the left.

Step 3: Enter your note text and click “Save”.

The note will appear on the public proposal and also carry over to the project if the proposal is marked Closed Won.
