Quick Setup
Step 1: Create the Plan
Go to Subscribfy → Subscription Plans.
Click Create Subscription Plan
Select Try before you buy
Step 2: Select Products
Choose which products to include and set purchase options:
One-time and Try before you buy — Customers choose between paying upfront or free trial
Only Try before you buy — Product is exclusively sold as a trial
Step 3: Convert to Subscription (Optional)
Enable this to automatically convert completed trials into recurring subscriptions.
Example: Customer gets trial-size first, then receives full-size product as a subscription.
Step 4: Set Trial Period
Enter Selling Plan Name (e.g., "Try before you buy")
Set Trial Period — Number of days before customer is charged
Click Save
How It Works

How long can I set the trial period?
Any duration you want, typically 7-14 days depending on your return policy.
What happens if the customer returns the product?
No charge occurs if returned within the trial period.
Is shipping included in the trial?
Yes. If the order contains only TBYB products, shipping is free upfront and charged when the trial ends.
Can I convert trials to subscriptions automatically?
Yes. Enable "Convert to Subscription" to enroll customers in a recurring plan after the trial.
Can I edit a plan after launch?
Yes. Update trial period and conversion settings anytime in your dashboard.
