How to configure the service at table from your dashboard

Learn how to create an area, associate your tables with it, choose the service at table, select the menus, and publish your configuration from the Service Management tab.

What is the service at table used for?

The service at table allows your customers to view your menu and place orders from their table by scanning a QR code.

You can define which areas the service is available in, which tables are included, which menus are displayed, and during which hours the service is active.

How to configure the service at table

1. Open the Service Management tab

In the Merchant Dashboard, open the Service Management tab, then select On-site.

2. Create an area

Create an area corresponding to a space or use within your establishment, such as a dining room, terrace, or bar.

Use a sufficiently explicit name so that you can easily find the area when configuring the service.

3. Associate tables with the area

Select the tables that should use the service at table in this area.

Repeat this step for each area required by your establishment.

4. Create and configure the service

From the area you have just created, or from an existing area:

  1. Create the service.

  2. Select Service at Table as the service type.

  3. Choose the hours during which the service should be active.

  4. Select the menus that should be displayed to customers.

For example, in this service configuration, the service at table is activated from 3:00 p.m. :

5. Save and publish the configuration

If the configuration is not complete, you can save it as a draft and complete it later.

Once the configuration is ready, click Publish. A configuration saved as a draft is not applied to customers.

How to check that the configuration is working

Before considering the configuration complete:

  1. Open the link associated with a table’s QR code.

  2. Check that the service is active on the planned day and during the scheduled hours.

  3. Check that the selected menus are displayed correctly.

  4. If possible, place an end-to-end test order.

This check confirms that your customers will access the correct service from the correct table.

Best practices

Create areas that accurately reflect the organization of your establishment and use clear, explicit names. After each change, publish the configuration, then test at least one QR code per area to verify the service, hours, and displayed menus.
