The tips displayed in your PDQ transaction history depend on a dedicated permission in the PDQ configuration.
This permission is independent of the tip configuration. You can therefore accept tips on a PDQ without them being visible in the transaction history to a user who does not have this permission.
Accessing the history on the PDQ
From the main page of the sunday app on your PDQ, tap “History”.

You can then view the history of transactions carried out on your terminal. Tap a transaction to view its details.
Tips are visible in the history only if the “Display tips in history” permission is enabled for your role.
Enabling the permission
To display tips in your PDQ transaction history, the “Display tips in history” permission must be enabled for the relevant role.
From your dashboard, go to the PDQ section, then open the Configurations tab.
Open the configuration for the relevant PDQ.
Go to the Servers section, then select Permissions.
In the Permissions section, find the “Display tips in history” permission.
Enable this permission for the relevant roles.
Save the configuration.
You must be an Administrator to modify roles and their permissions.

If the permission is not enabled
When this permission is not enabled for your role, tips are not displayed in the PDQ history.
A message will indicate that you are not authorized to view tips on this terminal.
Note
For existing establishments, no action is required. Users who can already view tips will automatically retain this permission.
For new establishments, this permission is not enabled by default. It must be enabled in the PDQ configuration for each relevant role.
Tips are always visible in the transaction details. This permission only affects their display in the PDQ history.
This permission can be changed at any time, including for past transactions. However, if your establishment uses sunday Tipping, tips per server cannot be displayed, in accordance with sunday’s rules.
