How does Hybrid work?
The exact setup may vary depending on your restaurant’s service model.
Server-led setup
The server opens the check in the restaurant’s POS.
The guest scans the QR code at the table.
The guest browses the digital menu.
The guest orders additional items, such as drinks, desserts, coffee, or sides.
The order is sent to the restaurant’s POS and kitchen.
The new items are added to the guest’s existing check.
The guest pays the full check through sunday at the end of the meal.
Guest-led setup
The guest scans the QR code at the table.
The guest opens the check on their phone.
The guest places an order through sunday.
The guest can order additional items throughout the meal.
The order is sent to the restaurant’s POS and kitchen.
All items are added to the same check.
The guest pays the full check once, at the end of the meal.
Payment is always deferred until the end of the meal. Guests do not pay after each order.
Can guests still order with a server?
Yes. Hybrid does not require guests to manage the entire experience themselves.
Your team can continue taking orders in person as usual. Guests can then use the QR code whenever they want to add another item to their check, such as another round of drinks, a dessert, or coffee.
Hybrid is designed to complement table service, not replace it.
How do guests pay with Hybrid?
Guests pay the full check once, at the end of the meal.
The check includes items ordered with a server and items ordered through the QR code. Guests should not be asked to pay after each individual order.

Does Hybrid work with the restaurant’s POS?
Hybrid is designed to work with your restaurant’s existing POS. Orders placed through sunday are sent to the POS and kitchen as part of your normal order flow.
The exact setup and availability depend on your POS integration. Some integrations may be more automated than others and may require additional menu configuration or testing.
