Exhibit Builder Templates

Assemble court-ready exhibit packages in one click — no matter the deadline

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Exhibit Builder Templates help attorneys and legal staff respond to discovery requests and evidence deadlines by automatically organizing and packaging exhibits to case-specific requirements, so they can produce complete, properly arranged exhibit sets in a fraction of the time.

What's New

We've introduced Exhibit Builder Templates, which allows legal teams to create and apply reusable exhibit packaging templates tailored to different case types and jurisdictions. This update is designed to help teams meet tight discovery deadlines without the manual overhead of splitting, sorting, and organizing large document sets by hand.

The Problem It Solves

Previously, when the opposing side requested evidence on a short deadline, attorneys had to manually split large, multi-provider PDFs — sometimes hundreds of pages long — sort them according to case-specific rules, and assemble them into a coherent exhibit package. Different case types (workers' compensation, motor vehicle accidents, etc.) each carry different ordering and formatting requirements, compounding the complexity.

This made last-minute discovery requests one of the most time-consuming and error-prone tasks in case preparation, often putting teams at risk of missing deadlines or producing inconsistently organized packages.

How to Get Started

To start using Exhibit Builder Templates:

  1. Navigate to the Exhibit Builder for your case in Supio.

  2. Select a template from your firm's template library (e.g., Workers' Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident).

  1. Click Apply — Supio automatically arranges your documents according to the template's rules.

  1. Review the generated exhibit package and export.

Templates can be created and customized for any case type or jurisdiction your firm handles.

How It Works

Exhibit Builder Templates work by:

  • Storing predefined document ordering and grouping rules as reusable templates tied to case type or jurisdiction requirements.

  • Applying those rules to your case documents in one click, automatically splitting, sorting, and arranging files — including large multi-facility, multi-provider PDFs.

  • Allowing templates to be swapped at any time — switch from a Workers' Compensation template to a Motor Vehicle Accident template and your entire exhibit package is instantly rearranged.

Note: Templates can be applied and re-applied as requirements change — switching templates does not delete your documents, only their arrangement.

Why It Matters

With Exhibit Builder Templates, legal teams can:

  • Meet tight discovery deadlines without scrambling to manually sort and split large document sets.

  • Eliminate formatting errors by encoding the correct document order and grouping rules into reusable templates.

  • Handle any case type with a template library that grows with your firm's practice areas.

  • Rearrange exhibit packages instantly by switching templates — no rebuilding from scratch.

  • Stay focused on the case, not the logistics of document preparation.

Who It's For

This feature is available to all Supio users who build and manage exhibit packages. It is particularly valuable for:

  • Attorneys and paralegals responding to discovery requests with tight deadlines.

  • Firms handling high-volume or multi-provider cases (e.g., workers' compensation, personal injury) where document sets are large and complex.

Requirements: Exhibit templates must be created in Supio before use. No special permissions or plan upgrades are required.

Availability & Rollout

  • Status: General Availability

  • Rollout: Immediate — available to all Supio customers today.

  • Notes: Templates are firm-specific and managed by your team. Multiple templates can coexist and be applied interchangeably within any case.

What's Coming Next

We're continuing to improve Exhibit Builder Templates, with upcoming enhancements focused on case types and tighter integration with Supio's document classification and intake workflows.
