How can I change the payment method for a live order?

Switch an order between prepaid and COD (cash on delivery) at any point before it is delivered.

You can change an order's payment method after placing it β€” for example, switching from COD to prepaid if your customer pays online, or from prepaid to COD if they prefer to pay on delivery.

How to change the payment method

  1. Go to the Orders page in your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com.

  2. Find the order you want to update.

  3. Click the three dots (β‹―) on the right side of the order.

  4. Select Payment.

  5. Choose the new payment type β€” Prepaid or Payment on Delivery (COD).

  6. If switching to COD, enter the amount to collect from the customer.

  7. Click Save.

When can I change it?

  • You can change the payment method at any stage before delivery β€” including Requested, Picked Up, At Depot, and Out for Delivery.

  • You cannot change the payment method after the order has been delivered.

Good to know

  • If you switch to COD, the driver will collect the specified amount from your customer at delivery.

  • COD collections carry a 2.9% processing fee which is deducted on your monthly invoice.

  • Your customer is notified via WhatsApp about the payment method, so they know what to expect at delivery.
