How do I attach an invoice or document to an order?

Learn when and how to attach invoices, customs documents, or other files to your orders in Control Room.

When should I attach a document?

You need to attach documents in these situations:

  • International orders —A commercial invoice is required for customs clearance. Shipments without an invoice may be flagged and held.
    For orders to Oman, a copy of the recipient’s National ID must also be attached.

  • B2B orders — Attach a B2B invoice that the driver will get signed and stamped by the recipient at delivery. The signed copy is uploaded to your dashboard.

  • Orders with special instructions — Attach any supporting documentation your delivery may need (certificates, permits, packing lists).

How to attach a document

  1. Find the order in your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com.

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) on the right-hand side of the order.

  3. Select Add New Attachments.

  4. Drag and drop your file, or click to browse and upload.

  5. Click Done to save.

Accepted file formats

PDF, JPG, PNG, and common document formats. Keep files under 10 MB for fastest upload.

Requirements for international shipments

Your invoice must include:

  • Full product descriptions and HS codes

  • Item values and quantities

  • Recipient's full name, email, phone with country code, and complete address

  • For Saudi Arabia: complete Saudi National Address with Short Address Code

  • For orders above AED 1,000: exporter code
