swftbox handles international deliveries to 150+ destinations via our partner network. Here is how to book one and what to know about charges.
Step 1: Create an order
Place an order on Control Room, either manually or through your website integration.
Step 2: Attach the invoice
If your store is integrated with swftbox, skip to Step 3. Otherwise:
Click Add Attachment to upload your order invoice.
Don't have an invoice? Our team can generate one for you.
Step 3: Key requirements
For smooth customs clearance, ensure all details are accurate and complete:
Recipient Details: Full name, email, phone (with country code), complete address (street, building, area, state, country, postcode).
Shipment Information: HS code, invoice, clear product descriptions.
Consignee National ID: Required for customs clearance.
Exporter Code: Required on invoices for shipments above AED 1,000.
Safety Certificates: Needed for cosmetics, supplements, and electronics.
Correct Value: Declared value must match actual product value. Understating may result in customs holds.
Saudi Arabia shipments must include a complete Saudi National Address with Short Address Code.
Delivery timelines
GCC: 1-3 business days
International: 3-5 business days
Customs and taxes
Duties and VAT are payable by the receiver.
GCC DDP thresholds:
Kuwait: up to KWD 100 (~AED 1,200)
Bahrain: up to BHD 200 (~AED 1,900)
Qatar: up to QAR 1,000 (~AED 1,000)
Above these thresholds, a 6.25% customs fee applies (paid by customer).
Good to know
No Cash on Delivery (COD) for international shipments. COD orders are automatically cancelled.
Address updates and RTOs are subject to extra charges.
Leave a 0.5 kg buffer for packaging variations.
All rates are exclusive of VAT and inclusive of fuel surcharges.
Remote area orders will be flagged as "International = On Hold" until confirmed. A remote area charge of AED 100 applies.
