Every swftbox delivery includes proof of delivery (POD) so you have a record of how and when each order was completed. The type of proof depends on your order enhancements and delivery method.
Types of proof of delivery
Photo confirmation (standard)
By default, the swftbox driver takes a photo of the package at the delivery location — typically at the customer's door or building entrance. This photo is automatically attached to the order in your Control Room.
Digital signature
If you have enabled the Signature enhancement, the driver collects a digital signature from the recipient on their device. The signature is stored with the order record.
OTP verification record
If you have enabled OTP (One-Time Password), the system records that the customer provided the correct code before the driver handed over the package. The OTP confirmation timestamp is logged with the order.
Emirates ID verification
If you have enabled Emirates ID verification, the driver captures the recipient's ID at delivery. This record is attached to the order.
How to view POD in Control Room
Log in to your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com.
Go to the Orders page.
Find the delivered order (use the Delivered filter or search by reference number).
Click on the order to open its details.
The proof of delivery — photo, signature, and/or verification records — is displayed in the order timeline.
Using POD for customer disputes
If a customer claims they did not receive their order:
Check the delivery photo to confirm the package was left at the correct location.
Review the signature or OTP record to confirm the recipient was verified.
If you need additional information, contact our support team — we can provide the driver's GPS coordinates at the time of delivery.
How to enable enhanced POD
To add signature, OTP, or ID verification to your deliveries:
Go to Settings → Configurations in your Control Room.
Scroll to Order Enhancements.
Toggle on the enhancements you want.
Click Save.
Enhancement charges: AED 5 per order for OTP, Signature, or Emirates ID.
