Introduction
Funnels are one of the most powerful tools in Swiftwebsites.ai. Unlike websites, which allow free navigation, funnels are built as guided flows. Taking visitors step by step toward a specific action, like booking an appointment, filling out a form, or completing a purchase.
This guide will walk you through creating your first funnel, connecting it to your website, and using built-in tools like A/B testing and analytics to maximize conversions.
What Is a Funnel?
A funnel is a sequence of two or more connected pages.
Example: Landing Page → Form Submission Page → Thank You Page.
Funnels are goal-focused - designed to reduce distractions and improve conversion rates.
Use cases include:
Lead generation campaigns
Product sales funnels
Booking flows for services
Creating Your First Funnel
From your dashboard, click the Funnels button.
Select Create New Funnel.
Browse available funnel templates (two-step, three-step, sales funnels, lead generation funnels, etc.).
Preview a template to see all included steps (e.g., Landing Page + Thank You Page).
Click Add Funnel, give it a name, and confirm.
The funnel is now ready for customization with the drag-and-drop editor.
Moving Funnels Inside a Website
By default, new funnels are standalone.
To move a funnel into a website:
Note: Funnels typically don’t include a global header/footer, keeping visitors focused.
Customizing Funnel Pages
Edit each step just like a regular page, and update headings, images, buttons, and forms.
Add additional steps if needed (e.g., upsells, forms, confirmation pages).
Every page should have a clear call-to-action (CTA) leading to the next step.
Tracking and Optimizing
Funnels include built-in analytics:
Track how many people visit each step.
See conversion rates from one step to the next.
Use A/B testing to improve performance:
Duplicate a page step.
Edit text, images, videos, or calls-to-action.
Compare results and keep the better-performing version.
You can also add upsells, downsells, or bump offers in sales funnels for higher revenue.
Best Practices
Keep each step focused on one action only (sign up, buy now, book appointment).
Remove unnecessary navigation to reduce distractions.
Always test your funnel on desktop and mobile.
Use A/B testing to continuously optimize content, images, and CTAs.
For product funnels, add upsells/downsells to maximize order value.
Monitor analytics regularly to improve conversion rates.
