Lead Qualification

Create structured question templates to qualify your contacts and standardize your team's sales process.

What is Lead Qualification?

The Lead Qualification section lets you create and manage question templates to associate with contacts in the CRM. Each template is a set of questions that the sales team can answer directly from the contact card, collecting strategic information in a structured and consistent way.

💡 What is it for? Instead of scattering notes across external sheets or free-text fields, Lead Qualification centralizes key data about your leads — such as whether they're decision makers, what type of company they represent, or whether they're a good fit — directly in the contact profile.

Qualification Templates

A template is a set of predefined questions that you can reuse across multiple contacts. You can create different templates depending on the type of interaction: a trade show, a discovery call, a prospect qualification, and so on.

Template List

The list shows all templates created by your team, including name, description, author, and date added. From the main screen you can see every available template — both yours and your colleagues'. The + Create Playbook Template button in the top right takes you to the creation page.

Creating a New Template

To create a qualification template, go to Lead Qualification → Create Playbook Template. You'll be asked to choose a name, an optional description, and the method you want to use to build the questions.

You can choose from three approaches:

BANT Method

Classic and straightforward — ideal for short sales cycles.

  • Is there an available budget?

  • Does the contact have decision-making authority?

  • Is there a real need?

  • When do they plan to purchase?

CHAMP Method

Best when the customer's challenges take priority over budget.

  • What is the main problem?

  • Does the contact have decision-making authority?

  • Is the budget realistic?

  • How urgent is it?

Custom Questions

Build your questions from scratch, tailored to your process.

  • Full freedom over content

  • Suitable for events or specific use cases

💬 Tip: Give templates clear, recognizable names — like "WELFARE DAY Event" or "Discovery Call" — so your team immediately knows which one to use and when.

Assigning a Template to a Contact

You can assign a template directly from a contact's card, under the Qualification tab.

  1. Open the contact card and click the Qualification tab in the top bar.

  2. Click "+ Assign a set of questions". A window will appear showing all available templates.

  3. Select the template you want to use. You can search by name using the search bar.

Filling In the Qualification Questions

Once a template is assigned, the questions appear directly in the contact's Qualification tab. You can answer them by selecting the available options (Yes/No, dropdown menus, etc.) and save your responses.

ℹ️ Note: Answers are saved to the contact profile and are visible to all team members with access to the card. This ensures qualification information is always up to date and shared across the team.

FAQ

Can I create multiple different templates? Yes, you can create as many templates as you need. Each template is reusable across multiple contacts, and you can assign more than one template to the same contact if necessary.

Who can create or edit templates? Templates are managed at the team level and can only be created or edited by admin users. Once created, they are visible and usable by all team members.

Do answers to questions affect other CRM fields? Answers are saved in the contact's Qualification tab and do not automatically update other fields. You can, however, use them as a reference to manually update the lead status or other attributes in the profile.
