We've got quite a few major developments in this release, so let's dive right in!

1. Enhanced Bulk Candidate Booking: Introducing the Intelligent "Apply All"!

Booking multiple candidates for numerous temporary, high-volume shifts just got a whole lot easier and more efficient! We've made significant updates to our bulk booking capabilities with a more powerful and intelligent "Apply All" feature.

  • Smarter Upfront Checks: Immediately see if any selected candidates are unavailable for any chosen shifts, along with reasons, allowing for quick adjustments.

  • Book the First, Apply to All (Intelligently!): Complete booking details for the first candidate, and the system remembers common settings (client specifics, rates, etc.). Click "Apply All" to instantly transfer these to all other selected, available candidates for all their shifts.

  • Effortless Handling of Missing Information: If candidates lack mandatory details, "Apply All" creates "Draft" bookings. You'll get a clear list of what's needed, allowing you to complete these details individually before finalising the booking, ensuring compliance without halting your bulk process.

Why This is a Game-Changer: Drastic time reduction, proactive problem-solving, consistent data entry, and easy compliance for high-volume temp bookings.


2. Revolutionised Booking Management: The New Editable Summary Screen & Quick Shift Edits!

We've transformed the booking summary screen into a powerful quick-edit hub! Now, you can make many common adjustments instantly without navigating away from the overview.

  • Quick Edits Across the Board: Use the pencil icons to directly edit fields like address details, consultant splits, and rates.

  • Flexible Rate Management: Update pay/charge rates, modify descriptions, and add new rate types (like overtime) on the fly.

  • NEW – Actual Shift Time Adjustments: Record a candidate's "Actual Shift Time" (e.g., started at 9:30 instead of 9:00) without altering the original templated shift. A "difference" icon on the summary screen and booking desk will highlight these changes.

  • NEW – Change the Entire Shift Template Instantly: Directly from the summary screen, assign a completely different shift template for a specific booking, and see the candidate visually move on your booking desk.

Key Benefits: Unprecedented speed for edits, enhanced accuracy for scheduled vs. actual times, improved visibility of modifications, and ultimate flexibility for last-minute changes.


3. Comprehensive AWR Process Management: Automation & Compliance Built-In!

Building on the "Legal Hirer" field introduced in 14.4, we're thrilled to unveil our new AWR Process Management suite. This powerful new module automates key aspects of AWR tracking, helping you ensure compliance with greater ease and accuracy.

Important Note: Due to the comprehensive nature of this feature and specific setup requirements (including ensuring your "Legal Hirer" field is consistently used), AWR Process Management will require activation and configuration with the guidance of our Customer Success team. We highly recommend reaching out to us to schedule a session to ensure it's set up appropriately for your business and your team is fully trained.

Key Features & Enhancements:

  • Automatic AWR Clock Generation & Tracking: The system automatically generates and manages AWR clocks when candidates are booked with a "Legal Hirer," prompting you to use existing clocks or create new ones as needed, even in bulk bookings.

  • Intelligent Clock Calculation: Accurately calculates the AWR qualifying period based on bookings, configured unavailability, and cancellation reasons, aligning with legislation.

  • Smart Copy Booking Controls for AWR Compliance: Prevents accidental non-compliance by flagging and requiring confirmation when copying "pre-period" bookings beyond a candidate's estimated AWR attainment date.

  • Seamless Transition to Post-AWR Terms: Automatically applies defined post-AWR job rates and client-level AWR holiday rates when copying bookings across the AWR threshold, and updates the AWR status to "Complete." If specific AWR rates aren't predefined, original rates are retained for later updates.

Equally as important, these enhancements are here to make your daily tasks a little bit easier and more efficient:

  • Enhanced Favourites List Management: You can now easily move people from one favourites list to another or create new lists directly from an existing one. Simply use the star icon or tick names to add candidates, clients, or contacts to a different or brand-new favourites list – no need to start from a full search every time!

  • Client Click-to-Dial: Making your communications even quicker, click-to-dial functionality is now available for the central client phone number, linking directly to your connected VoIP system – just like it works for candidates and contacts.

  • Branch Searching in the Diary Log: For better team performance tracking, you can now filter and search the diary log by Branch. This allows you to monitor activities and performance for specific teams within chosen date ranges or across the board.

  • Automatic Perm Placement Fee Population: Save time and reduce clicks! If you've set a fee percentage on a permanent job, this percentage will now automatically pull through when you add a new permanent placement from the shortlist. Just confirm the salary, and your fee details will populate for the invoicing schedule.

  • Bulk Actions in the Starts Tab: Managing candidate starts is now faster. You can select multiple candidates in the Starts Tab and use the new "bulk action update" option (via the three dots menu) to mark them as "Started," "Cancelled," or reset their booking all at once.

  • Booking Cancellation Reason Visibility: Get quick insights into why a booking was cancelled. On bookings tab for Clients, Contacts and Candidate simply hover over the 'i' (information) icon next to a cancelled booking to see the logged cancellation reason without needing to click into the full booking details.
