Types and Tags are the way to differentiate between your documents in Talisman. They can also be used throughout your compliance process to easily assign which documents are required for bookings.

Types

The type of document is the higher level grouping. For example, a Work Eligibility Document. There can be multiple documents that qualify as Work Eligibility in your industries, but grouping them together under one heading makes it clear to define.

You can create a type by going to Menu -> Admin Manager -> Templates -> Types. From this page, you can edit existing custom Types (note that some are hard-coded in, so not all can be deleted/edited) and you can also create new Types. An example of a new type could be Terms Of Business:
โ€‹
Type - TOB

Icon - The choice is yours!

Description - Terms of Business

Press "Add"

Tags

Tags then enable a sub-level assignment, providing more detail as to what the document is or perhaps the stage the document is in. Using our Work Eligibility Type, your tags could be to identify if it is a Passport or a Drivers Licence.

You can create Document Tags by going to Menu -> Admin Manager -> Templates -> Tyages. From this page, you can edit existing custom Tages (note that some are hard-coded in, so not all can be deleted/edited) and you can also create new Tags. An example of a new tag could be Terms Of Business - Signed:

Type - TOB - SIGNED

Type - TOB

Description - Terms of Business Signed by Client

Press "Add"
