Candidate Search

The Candidate Search feature has been meticulously designed with decades of user experience in mind, incorporating numerous functionalities to make your candidate search process efficient and powerful.

Next to the "Attributes" button, you will find the option for your Profile Codes. As you type, the search will bring up a list of matching codes. Select the ones you want and press "List Candidates" to view all matching.

Top Tip! Next to "List Candidates" you will see a list of toggle buttons. You can turn these on to view the data in the profile. For example, the profile codes, or their job history without having to go into the full profile.

You can also utilise boolean operators (OR, AND, NOT) to make your searches more in-depth.

Every now and then you will create the perfect search, using multiple fields and complex boolean. If you are wondering how you will ever be able to re-create it again, well you won't have to - just save it!

Just below the "Attributes" button, you will see 2 buttons:

Save Search - Save your searches to quick-load at any time.

Load Previous Search - Retrieve a search you've saved previously for quick access.

Note: When saving you will be asked which Level you want.
Personal - Only you will be able to see/use this search
Branch - Only users in your assigned branch will be able to see/use this search
System - Every user in your Talisman instance will be able to see/use this search

In addition to the field search, you might also want to look for key words or phrases in the candidates CV. Here you can use boolean as well. Also, by toggling on "CV Match" you will be able to quickly see where the words/phrases are in the CV.

​Top Tip - Only CV's tagged with the "CVCURRENT" tag will be searchable. So make sure you have tagged the right one if there are multiple in the candidate's record.

Job history narrows down the candidate searches by giving insights into a candidate's last three jobs directly from the Candidate Search screen.

The Attributes button is a valuable tool for advanced searching in candidate records, Attributes offer advanced search capabilities beyond date ranges. You can search based on the date of the CV, employment type, location, notice periods, and profile groups. This allows for precise and advanced data retrieval from your database.

For instance, you can find candidates registered within the last day, last month, or last year. You can even create complex searches, excluding specific date ranges.

Talisman is a powerful tool designed to provide comprehensive candidate search capabilities, offering users the ability to conduct searches tailored to their preferences. This feature empowers you to search in a granular way, ensuring you find the most relevant candidates.

Using Power Search, Save your detailed searches for future use and tailor your searches to be as simple or as complex as necessary.
