Districts and schools partnered with TalkingPoints import their staff's information through Clever, ClassLink, TalkingPoints Connector, or .csv file. If your email has changed due to moving schools or a name change, you will need to make the change within your school's data system first.
Clever, ClassLink, and TalkingPoints Connector Synced Accounts
If your school uses any of the above, please make the email change directly in your Student Information System (SIS). Your admin team or school secretary might need to assist with this. After the change has been made, wait for the nightly sync to see the new email reflected in your TalkingPoints account.
.csv Imported Accounts
Reach out to your admin team or school secretary, so they can make the changes in the .csv files that they upload to TalkingPoints. After a re-upload of the file, your new email will be reflected on TalkingPoints.
Individual Accounts
If you are using TalkingPoints on your own, please create a new account with your new email, as email changes are not supported directly on TalkingPoints. For assistance transferring your classes from an old account to a new account, you can contact TalkingPoints Support.
