Teachers can receive email and app notifications whenever a family contact sends a message. For email notifications, you can even adjust the frequency from every incoming message, a weekly summary, or never, for example. TalkingPoints also allows you to set office hours to control when you receive message notifications via email and app. Adjust your notifications settings by following these steps!
Web
Step 1: Select your name in the bottom left corner.
Step 2: Select 'Settings' in the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select 'Notifications' from the Settings menu.
Step 4: Change your notifications settings using the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Click 'Save' to confirm your changes.
Mobile App
Step 1: Select the 'Profile' tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Click on 'Notifications & auto-reply' under Account settings.
Step 3: Set up your notification settings and tap 'Save' to confirm changes.
