Once you have joined TalkingPoints with your unique student code, you can join new groups such as clubs, leadership classes, and more with a group code.

Please note: You will not be able to join a group until you use your unique student code to join TalkingPoints first.

How to join a group if you use SMS Text for TalkingPoints

Ask your teacher for the group phone number and language code to join any new groups.

Step 1: Text the language group code to the group phone number.

Step 2: You'll receive a welcome message from a new phone number. This number will be linked to a staff member in charge of the group. Save the phone number with the name of the staff member in the message so that you know who they are when they message you!

How to join a group if you use the TalkingPoints for Families App

Ask your teacher for the group code to join any new groups.

Step 1: Tap on 'Settings'

Step 2: Select 'Classes & Groups'

Step 3: Click 'Join a group'

Step 4: Enter the group code and click 'Join'
