As the Taplio Connect Chrome extension is necessary in order to connect your accounts and use the platform, in the case that you receive any errors indicating that Taplio can't detect the extension, it may prevent you from using the features properly.
💡 Which extension do I need? Taplio has two extensions. Taplio Connect is the one Taplio needs to detect: it connects your LinkedIn account to Taplio. Taplio Boost is optional and adds Taplio features (stats, smart replies, saving posts) directly on LinkedIn. Taplio Boost requires Taplio Connect, but Taplio Connect works without Taplio Boost. You can check which ones are installed at chrome://extensions/.
To resolve these situations, please follow these steps:
Ensure that the Taplio Connect extension is installed on your Google Chrome browser.
Visit the LinkedIn website using a chromium-based browser, so Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Brave would be the best choices, but you can learn more by checking out our dedicated Help Center article.
Return to the page where you encountered the error in Taplio and refresh it.
If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Taplio Connect extension.
To do this, right-click on the Taplio Connect extension and select “Remove from Chrome.” Then, go back to the Chrome Web Store in order to reinstall Taplio Connect. Follow the steps mentioned earlier to reconnect it to your Taplio account.
