First of all, the Taplio Connect extension is required to be connected to your Taplio account in order for all features to function as supposed to.
However, the Connect extension can only be installed on Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, etc. and it cannot be installed and connected on a mobile device.
You do have the option to create your account on Taplio via mobile, but the setup needs to be continued on a desktop device through a link which you will receive to your email address.
If you are already on your desktop device, open your chromium-based browser, head over to https://app.taplio.com/ and log into your Taplio account, and please make sure that you are logged into your LinkedIn account on the same browser.
Then connect your account by following the below procedure:
The onboarding process will automatically download and connect the Taplio Connect extension:
Once you click on the 'Continue setup' button, you will move to Step 2/3, which will detect the account you are connected to:
The next step is to click on the 'That's me' button you will move to the final Step 3/3, which is automatic, no need to click anywhere:
In the case that you need to download Taplio Connect directly, just make sure to choose the appropriate browser:
Once you have added the extension, please head over to LinkedIn, and in case the extensions hasn't loaded, just refresh the page.
After the extensions has loaded, click on "Get Started".
Then, to connect your account, go back to the Taplio tab on which you've started your onboarding and the onboarding will automatically continue and open the Dashboard:
Your onboarding is therefore completed!
You are now all set and can log into Taplio on your mobile browser and use it on the go!
⚠️ Note: Please make sure not to log out of LinkedIn on the desktop browser where the Taplio Connect extension is installed and to stay connected to your Taplio account, as logging out of LinkedIn on that browser will disconnect your Taplio account from the Taplio Connect extension and cause all your scheduled posts to fail, as well as stats to stop syncing, etc.
