How to use Drafts - Kanban view

Organize your drafts into stages and schedule them, all from one board.

The Drafts page shows all your drafts as a Kanban board. Create your own columns for each stage of your writing process, move drafts between them, and schedule posts right from the board.

📍 Where to find it

Click Write & Schedule in the sidebar, then select Drafts.

🗂️ Organize your columns

The board comes with a few pre-created columns, and you can adjust them to match how you work:

  • Show or hide the columns you want to see

  • Rename any column

  • Add new columns

  • Delete columns you don’t need

  • Drag and drop drafts between columns to move them to the next stage

🔍 Search your drafts

Have a lot of drafts? Type a word into the search bar and only the drafts containing that word will be shown on the board.

🖊️ Write a new draft

You can start a new draft from inside any column. Click the “Write a post” button in that column and the composer will open so you can start writing.

Drafts you save from the composer with the New draft button also appear on this board, and you can open them from the composer’s Drafts tab too. Learn more about the composer.

🗓️ Schedule a draft

  1. Drag a draft into the Scheduled column.

  2. A pop-up will ask you to confirm the date and time for the post.

  3. Click Schedule.

✅ A confirmation message will appear at the top of the page once your post is scheduled.
