The AI plays a few different roles in Taplio, including:
Automatically analyzing and fetching relevant posts for you
Writing content for you to edit and post
And there are several ways you can use Taplio’s AI to find inspiration and create high-performing posts.
Let’s cover all of them:
Viral posts
The Viral posts section in Taplio is where our AI automatically fetches existing viral content that’s relevant for you. It has three tabs:
For you: fresh daily matches picked for your profile and interests. A new batch arrives every day, and you can scroll down to see previous batches.
Explore more: search our library of 4M+ posts by describing a topic, or click one of the suggested topics relevant to your niche.
Saved posts: the posts you've saved for later.
On each post you can click Why is this viral? to understand what made it work, Save it, or Remix it into a new post in your voice.
The goal of the feature is not for you to copy/paste one of the posts you find here. What we recommend is you try to grasp the ideas and formats that are behind each post and see how you can apply them differently for your own personal brand.
If you are in an extremely niche industry, it might be hard for our AI to find relevant content. If you are too vague when describing what you’re looking for, the AI may bring up less relevant posts. So don’t hesitate to try different topics in Explore more to find the right balance.
Viral posts is designed to surface posts that are already performing well or going viral, so you may notice that very niche topics are less represented. This is normal, as fewer posts in those areas reach the level of visibility our system highlights. If you'd like us to add specific voices or examples that matter in your niche, let us know, we're happy to include them so your feed feels more relevant to you.
Adjust AI: tell Taplio who you are
How relevant your posts and AI drafts are depends largely on your AI settings. Click Adjust AI at the top right of the page to open your profile setup. It has four steps:
About you: who you are (pulled from your LinkedIn, edit anything that's off)
Tone of Voice: how you sound
Content pillars: what you write about
Audience: who reads you
These details anchor every idea and draft Taplio generates for you.
Also, keep in mind that AI is here to inspire and assist you, not replace you entirely. So it’s normal to find that the posts aren’t perfect and require some work.
Post Builder
Post Builder helps you craft impactful LinkedIn content in just a few clicks, whether you’re aiming to teach, inspire, or promote. You'll find it in Write & Schedule → Post builder.
How to Use It
Post Builder has two tabs: From an idea and From a URL.
From an idea
Enter your post topic: share your idea in 1–3 sentences. Not sure where to begin? Click Suggest topic.
Choose post variations: select one or more styles. Each selected style generates a different version of your post:
Actionable – clear tips or advice
Storytelling – narrative-style posts
Thought-provoking – posts that spark conversation
Promotional – content promoting your product, service, or offer
Set format & tone (optional): click Edit in the Format & tone panel to choose the format, tone, angle and structure.
Generate: click Generate posts. Each version uses 1 Expert Mode credit.
From a URL
Choose Article or YouTube Video, paste the link and click Generate to turn it into a LinkedIn post.
Ask Taplio (formerly Chat Assist)
Ask Taplio is your AI assistant and replaces Chat Assist. It reads your past posts, your analytics and what's working in your niche, then tells you what to post and drafts it in your voice.
Open it with the Ask Taplio button at the top of the left menu, or from the Ask Taplio box on your Dashboard. You can type any question, or start from a suggestion built from your account:

AI Edit in the post composer
When you open the composer (Write a Post), the AI Edit tab helps you improve what you wrote, in your own voice:
One-click actions: Improve this post, Rewrite the hook, Fix grammar and spelling
Or type your own instruction in the box at the bottom.
Type / (or click Commands) to use a command:
/repurpose – rewrite any post into fresh variations in your voice
/fromlink – draft a post from an article, Notion page or YouTube link
/postFromIdea – turn an idea into a ready-to-publish post
/postIdeas – get post ideas based on your profile, recent posts and inspiration
Use Adjust results to fine-tune the output and History to go back to earlier versions.
Other ways AI helps you in Taplio
Remix a post
Whenever you find a post in Viral posts, click Remix to have our AI turn it into a new post for you. This is particularly useful for your own posts which have performed well. You can also use Remix my posts that worked in Ask Taplio.
Get an idea for a reply when engaging with others
It’s not always easy to figure out what to comment on someone’s post. In Engagement feeds, click Smart Reply under any post to get an AI-suggested reply, edit it if needed and move on to the next post.
