Sharing account access in Taplio

Let a ghostwriter or teammate create, schedule and engage from your Taplio account.

Sharing your Taplio account lets someone you trust, like a ghostwriter or a teammate, work from your account. They can:

  • Create and schedule posts on your behalf

  • Manage your content and engage from your account

⚠️ Everyone you share your account with needs their own Taplio account with an active subscription.

🔓 How to share your account

  1. Click your name in the bottom left corner and open Account settings.

  2. In the General tab, scroll down to Account sharing.

  3. Enter the email of the other person's Taplio account, choose the access level (for example full access) and click Add.

🔁 How to switch between accounts

Once the account is shared, click your name in the bottom left corner. The accounts you have access to appear in the menu above it. Click one to switch to it, and click your own name to switch back.

👥 Which features are available

When accounts are shared, everyone gets the features of the lowest plan among the connected accounts. For example, if you're on Starter and you open a shared Pro account, you'll only see Starter features.

🔒 How to remove someone

Go back to Account settings → General → Account sharing and click the x next to the person you want to remove. You'll see a confirmation message.

❗ Good to know

  • Removing someone doesn't change your subscription or billing.

  • Sharing your account is different from adding a user to your organization: here you give someone access to your personal Taplio account.

  • Using the Taplio MCP? The connector always works with the account you were logged into when you connected it, not with an account shared with you. To use it with a shared profile, you need to connect with that account's own login.

  • Only share access with people you trust.
