"TaxiWebBooker Driver" is the mobile app for drivers and operators. The app works as a direct extension of your TaxiWebBooker system. It connects seamlessly to your TaxiWebBooker account, allowing drivers to receive, manage, and complete jobs through the mobile app
"TaxiWebBooker Driver" is built to support drivers throughout their daily operations—from receiving and managing jobs to navigating pickups and staying connected with their network. It gives drivers a simple and reliable way to stay online, accept or create jobs, and track their work in real time, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience.
"TaxiWebBooker Driver" for Drivers is available on Pro or Full plan only
Prerequisites
Before using "TaxiWebBooker Driver", make sure the following is set up in your TaxiWebBooker account:
The driver is added in the Teams Section of your TaxiWebBooker portal
An invitation is sent to the driver after being added. The driver’s phone number matches exactly with the number used to register in the app, which acts as the primary identifier for linking the driver and allowing them to connect to your company
How to Register/Sign In
Visit Driver App webpage to download from the Play Store or App Store to begin registration.
Open the app (Ensure you have an active internet connection and can receive messages)
When you open the "TaxiWebBooker Driver" App, choose how you want to sign in:
Continue with Google/Continue with Apple ID
Continue with Email
Continue with Phone Number
If you're a new driver, follow the prompts to create your account.
Complete Your Profile
Enter your:
First name
Last name
Email address (if required)
You can also add a profile photo. Accept the Terms & Conditions and tap Save & Continue.
Allow App Permissions
To use the Driver App correctly, allow the requested permissions:
Notifications – Receive booking alerts and updates.
Location (GPS) – Share your live location and enable navigation.
Physical Activity – Improves battery efficiency while tracking your location.
Background Activity – Keeps your location updated during your shift.
Tap Continue after granting the permissions.
Add Your Vehicle
Before starting your first shift, add your vehicle by entering:
License plate
Brand
Model
Maximum passengers
Tap Add Vehicle to save.
Accept a Company Invitation/Sign up as a business owner
Join a company
On the Shift screen, review any invitations under Open Invitations: Tap Accept to join the company or Deny to decline the invitation.
Sign up as a business owner
If you have not been invited by a company, the app will display a Not connected to any group message. Contact your taxi company or operator to receive an invitation. If you are a taxi company owner, tap Sign up as a business owner to create a TaxiWebBooker business account.
Once you've accepted an invitation, you can select the company and start your shift.

Note: We recommend allowing all permissions for the best app experience.
Starting a Shift
Before you can receive bookings, you must start a shift.
Select the vehicle you want to use.
Select one or more companies under Go Online For.
You can also see your role for each connected company (for example, Driver or Admin) below the company name.
Tap Start Shift.
Once your shift starts, your status is automatically set to Available, allowing you to start the rides assigned to you.
Change Your Availability
While your shift is active, tap your current status at the top of the screen to change your availability.
You can choose from the following options:
Available – Ready to receive new bookings.
Unavailable – Temporarily stop receiving new bookings while remaining logged into your shift.
End Shift – Finish your shift and go offline. You will no longer receive new booking requests until you start another shift.
My Jobs
The main home screen displays all the bookings assigned to you across every company you are connected to. Each booking card shows the pickup and drop-off locations, booking time, vehicle type, passenger count, fare, and the current booking status.
Tap a booking to view its full details or start the journey when your shift is active.
You can also create a new booking by selecting "+" icon on bottom right of the screen
Additional Job Tabs (Admin Only)
In addition to the standard assigned jobs, administrators have access to extra job categories to help manage bookings.
Driving – Displays all bookings currently assigned to drivers.
Unassigned – Shows bookings that have not yet been assigned to a driver.
Offered – Displays bookings that have been offered through Auto-dispatch and are waiting for a driver to accept.
Assigned – Shows bookings that have been assigned to a specific driver.
These tabs help administrators quickly filter and manage bookings based on their current dispatch status.
Menu
Tap the ☰ Menu button in the top-left corner of the Home screen to access additional features:
New Ride – Create a new booking manually.
Map – View your live location and nearby drivers.
Job History – View your completed and cancelled bookings.
Settings – Manage your account, vehicles, preferences, and app settings.
New Ride
You can manually create a job directly from the app: Menu > New ride or You can also create a new booking by selecting "+" icon on bottom right of the my jobs screen
Fill in the required details:
Pickup address
Destination
Pickup time (now or scheduled)
Passenger details
Vehicle type
Configure pricing:
Choose between Metered or Fixed pricing or Hourly
Choose payment method
Assign the job:
Assign to Me – Assign the booking directly to yourself.
Auto-dispatch to Group – Broadcast the booking to a group of drivers. The first driver to accept the job will be assigned.
Dispatch to Driver – Assign the booking to a specific driver within your company.
Dispatch to Phone Contact – Assign the booking to a driver from your phone contacts or invite a new driver.
Save and Dispatch Later – Save the booking without assigning a driver. You can dispatch it at a later time.
Map
The Map screen displays your current location along with the live locations of other available drivers connected to the same company. This helps operators and drivers see driver availability and locations in real time.
Job History
The Job History screen lets you review your previous bookings.

Each booking displays its status, pickup and drop-off locations, booking date, passenger count, vehicle type, and payment information.
Tap any booking to view its complete details, including passenger information and payment details
Settings
The Settings screen allows you to manage your account, connected companies, vehicles, permissions, and app preferences.
Profile – View your profile information.
My Vehicles – Add, edit, or remove your vehicles.
Companies & Debtors – View the companies you are connected to and any outstanding debtor information.
Push Notifications, GPS / Location & Background Activity – Manage notification and location permissions used by the app.
GPS Update Rate – Adjust how frequently your location is updated.
Navigation App – Choose your preferred navigation app for navigation.
Language – Change the app language.
Rate This App – Leave a rating and review for the Driver App.
Help Center – Access user guides and documentation.
Live Support – Contact the TaxiWebBooker support team.
Privacy Policy – View the app's privacy policy.
Notification Sounds & Font Size – Customize notification sounds and adjust the text size.
Web Portal – Open the TaxiWebBooker Driver Web Portal in your browser.
App Log – View diagnostic logs to help with troubleshooting.
Log Out – Sign out of the Driver App.
