YourDriverApp is the mobile app for drivers and operators. The app works as a direct extension of your TaxiWebBooker system. It connects seamlessly to your TaxiWebBooker account, allowing drivers to receive, manage, and complete jobs through the mobile app

YourDriverApp in Driver Mode is built to support drivers throughout their daily operations—from receiving and managing jobs to navigating pickups and staying connected with their network. It gives drivers a simple and reliable way to stay online, accept or create jobs, and track their work in real time, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience.


YourDriverApp is available on Pro or Full plan only


Prerequisites

Before using YourDriverApp in Driver Mode, make sure the following is set up in your TaxiWebBooker account:

  • The driver is added in the Members section of your TaxiWebBooker portal

  • An invitation is sent to the driver after being added. The driver’s phone number matches exactly with the number used to register in the app, which acts as the primary identifier for linking the driver and allowing them to connect to your system

How to Register

  • Visit YourDriverApp webpage to download from the Play Store or App Store to begin registration.

  • Open the app and verify your phone number using an OTP (SMS code)

  • Ensure you have an active internet connection and can receive messages

  • Choose how you want to use the app:

    • Driver

    • Operator / Business Owner

  • Grant required permissions:

    • Location (to receive nearby jobs)

    • Notifications (to get job alerts)

  • Complete your profile by adding:

    • Name and email

    • Vehicle details (type, capacity, license plate)

Home screen Overview

The home screen is your central workspace where you manage and track your jobs.

  • The top section shows your current status (Online/Offline)

  • The “My Jobs” section displays all Assigned jobs and past jobs

  • Each job includes: Pickup and drop-off locations, Passenger details, Job status

  • You can search and filter jobs using the search bar

  • Bottom navigation includes: Jobs, Messages, Settings


Going Online / Offline

To start a shift, tap the status button at the top of the screen and select Start job and go online. Then Choose from the following

  • Available – You're ready to accept new jobs

  • Driving to pickup – En route to the pickup location

  • Arrived at pickup – Waiting for the customer at pickup

  • Passenger on board – Traveling to the drop-off address

  • Other – Carwash, Break, Private Mileage

  • Offline – Not available for jobs (important: use this instead of just closing the app to avoid appearing available)

    Note: If you have multiple vehicles in your profile, select the correct one before going online.


Creating a Job

You can manually create a job directly from the app:

  • Tap the “+” button on the Jobs screen

  • Fill in the required details:

    • Pickup address

    • Destination (optional)

    • Pickup time (now or scheduled)

    • Passenger details (optional)

    • Vehicle type

  • Configure pricing:

    • Choose between Metered or Fixed pricing

    • Select tariff or enable hourly booking if needed

    • Choose payment method

  • Assign the job:

    • Assign to yourself

    • Assign to another driver

    • Dispatch to a group

    • Share externally (WhatsApp, email, etc.)

    • Save for later dispatch


Messages & Communication

The Messages section helps you stay connected with your network.

  • Access it from the bottom navigation (Messages tab)

  • View conversations within your driver network/group

  • Use tabs to navigate:

    • Messages → Chat with drivers

    • Members → View drivers in your network

    • Map → See driver locations

  • You can:

    • Send and receive messages

    • Coordinate job assignments

    • Start a new job directly from chat
