Operator mode App guide

YourDriverApp is the mobile extension of your TaxiWebBooker system, designed not only for drivers but also for operators and business owners to manage operations on the go.

In Operator Mode, the app gives mobile dispatchers full control over their daily activities—allowing them to manage drivers, monitor jobs, dispatch bookings, and stay connected with their network, all from a mobile device. It acts as a simplified, mobile version of your dispatch system, ensuring you can run your business anytime, anywhere.

Whether you’re assigning jobs, checking driver availability, communicating with your team, or reviewing ongoing bookings, YourDriverApp keeps everything accessible in one place for faster decision-making and smoother operations.


YourDriverApp for operators is available on Pro and Full plans only.


Prerequisites

Before using YourDriverApp- for Operators, make sure the following is set up in your TaxiWebBooker account:

  • Operators or admins are added in the Members section of your TaxiWebBooker portal

  • Each user is added with a unique phone number, which acts as the primary identifier.The phone number used in the app matches exactly with the one added in the portal

  • Drivers are available in the system to assign and manage jobs

How to Register

  • Visit YourDriverApp webpage to download from the Play Store or App Store to begin registration.

  • Open the app and verify your phone number using an OTP (SMS code)

  • Ensure you have an active internet connection and can receive messages

  • Choose how you want to use the app:

    • Driver

    • Operator / Business Owner

  • Grant required permissions:

    • Location (to receive nearby jobs)

    • Notifications (to get job alerts)

  • Complete your profile by adding:

    • Name and email

    • Vehicle details (type, capacity, license plate)

App Navigation Overview

YourDriverApp for Operators is structured into four main tabs: Contacts, Jobs, Messages, and Settings. These tabs help you manage your drivers, handle bookings, communicate with your network, and control operational settings directly from the app.


Contacts Tab

The Contacts tab is where you manage your network of drivers and customers.

It is divided into three sections:

  • Phone contacts → Access and use contacts from your device

  • Drivers → View and manage drivers connected to your network

  • Customers → Manage customer contacts

Within the Drivers section, you can:

  • Filter drivers based on their status:

    • All

    • In shift

    • Available

  • Use the dropdown to switch between:

    • Entire network

    • My connections

    • Specific groups (e.g., your fleet)

  • View driver connection status (e.g., awaiting connection)

This helps you stay organized and quickly understand driver availability across your network.


Jobs Tab

The Jobs tab is your main workspace for managing bookings and operations.

It contains two sections:

  • My jobs → Displays jobs assigned to you

  • Dispatch panel (available in Operators Mode) → Displays all jobs, including unassigned ones

Within the Dispatch panel, you can filter jobs by:

  • To be assigned

  • To do

  • All

From this tab, you can:

  • View job details such as pickup, drop-off, and passenger information

  • Assign or reassign drivers

  • Track job progress

  • Create new bookings using the “+” button

This gives you full visibility and control over your daily operations.


Messages Tab

The Messages tab keeps you connected with your network.

  • Receive notifications for:

    • New jobs

    • Job assignments

    • System updates

  • Communicate with:

    • Drivers

    • Your group/network (fleet communication)

This ensures smooth coordination and real-time communication across your operations.


Settings Tab

The Settings tab allows you to configure your account and operational preferences.

Account

  • Profile → View and update your account details

  • Vehicles → Manage your vehicles

  • Debtors → Manage customer accounts for billing and tracking

App Mode

  • Current app mode → Switch between Driver and Business Owner mode

Operations

  • Default job ownership

    • Private → Jobs are owned by you

    • Group → Jobs are owned by the group

  • Meter tariffs (Driver input)

    • Allows drivers to enter the fare after job completion

    • You can also create and manage your own tariffs directly from the app

    • Tap the “+” button in the Tariffs section to add a new tariff

    • Define components such as:

      • Initial charge

      • Distance charge

      • Time charge

      • Waiting time charge

      • Minimum and maximum fare

      • Tax percentage
