The Forms feature in Teach ’n Go helps you easily collect information, feedback, and responses from students, parents, and staff. You can use forms to gather consent, run surveys, or even create quizzes for learning assessments—all within your Teach ’n Go account.
How to access forms
Go to a Class page.
Click the Forms tab (next to Assignments and Gradebooks).
If you have any forms created, you'll be able to view them from here.
How to create a new form
Click + Add form on the right-hand side.
In the Create form window, fill in the following details:
Form name – a short name to identify the form.
Form type – choose Basic (for now, all forms are basic type).
Title – the heading that appears on the form.
Description – optional instructions or context for respondents.
Choose the form visibility:
Private – only visible to teachers and staff with access to the class.
Shared – visible to students and related contacts of the class.
Admin – visible to administrators only.
Adding form fields
In the Form fields section, you can design your form by dragging and dropping elements:
Select from these field types:
Text field – for short answers.
Text area – for longer text responses.
Checkbox group – for multiple selections.
Radio group – for single-choice questions.
Dropdown – for a compact selection menu.
Date picker – for selecting a specific date (useful for consent forms).
Drag your chosen field into the main area labelled “Drag and drop form fields here.”
Customise each question label, make it required if needed, and add as many fields as you like.
Click Save when finished.
Viewing the form and responses, and managing the forms
Once saved, your form appears under the Forms tab for that class.
You can:
Click the eye icon to preview the form and to view responses to the survey.
Click the pen on paper to fill the form.
Click the pencil icon to edit it.
Click the trash icon to delete it.
