In Teach 'n Go, classes (also referred to as courses, groups, sessions, and programmes) can be designed for both 1-on-1 sessions and groups of students. Here's a comprehensive guide to adding a class:

1. Initiate Class Creation:

  • Click on the "+" icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

  • Select "Class" from the options presented.

2. Complete Class Details:

  • On the form, provide essential details for your class. The only mandatory field is the class name.

  • Optional fields include teacher assignment, classroom selection, schedule, pricing, and student enrollment.

  • You can streamline the process by copying details from an existing class if they are similar. Use the "copy from existing class" link at the top right.

3. Teacher and Classroom Selection:

  • Choose the teacher for the class from the existing list of teachers in your school. If you need to add teachers, you can learn how here.

  • Add classrooms if not already done. o learn how to add classrooms, click here.

4. Schedule Configuration:

  • Set the class schedule, either

    • recurring weekly on specific days and times (e.g. weekly classes)

    • custom dates: specific dates (e.g. one time or week-long classes)

  • If you have set school holidays in the school settings, the holidays will be skipped during the course creation.

5. Pricing Options:

  • Specify the class price, with options for hourly, monthly, custom fees, or skipping fees.

  • Edit specific lessons or months if necessary.

6. Student Enrollment:

  • Add students to the class by selecting them and moving them over.

  • For efficiency, copy the student list from an existing class using the 'Copy from Class' button.

7. Save and Confirm:

  • Click "Save," and after a brief moment, your class will be successfully created.

  • Once created, the lessons will be visible on the admin, teacher, and student calendars.

Teach 'n Go helps you easily create, schedule, and manage classes for individuals and groups.
