The school portal brings your entire school community together in one place. By inviting teachers, students, and related contacts, you give them easy access to schedules, messages, progress information, and more. This guide explains what each group can see and how the portal helps everyone stay organised and connected.

What teachers and staff can see and do

By default, teachers and staff only see information related to the classes they are assigned to. They can:

  • View their class schedules

  • Take attendance

  • Add lesson notes

  • Track behaviours

  • Communicate with students and related contacts

By default, teachers do not see any financial information, such as fees, invoices, or payments.

Admins can adjust teacher permissions as needed:

  1. Open the teacher’s profile.

  2. Select Permissions from the left-hand menu.

  3. Turn features on or off.

What students can see and do

The student portal helps students stay organised and informed. Students can:

  • View their schedules

  • See their attendance history

  • Review behaviour notes

  • Access files and resources

  • View and download payment receipts

  • Check overdue fees

  • Make payments directly through the portal

  • Read announcements and other updates from your school

You can customise student permissions to limit or expand their access.

What related contacts can see and do

Related contacts (such as parents or guardians) can see everything the linked student sees. They can:

  • View Class schedules

  • Review Attendance and behaviour

  • Access Teacher notes

  • Review receipts and payment history

  • Make payments on behalf of the student

  • Receive announcements and messages

If a contact is linked to multiple students, they can easily switch between profiles in the portal.

Getting started with portal invitations

Inviting your school community to the portal helps create a connected and transparent environment.

Everyone gains instant access to the information they need—saving time and reducing routine admin questions.
