Teach ’n Go has a 10MB file upload limit, which means video files cannot be uploaded directly. Instead, you can embed videos into a lesson using a hosted link. This allows teachers and students to watch the video directly inside Teach ’n Go without leaving the platform.

Embed a video in a lesson

  1. Go to Classes and open the relevant class.

  2. Open the lesson where you want to add the video.

  3. In the lesson card, click the Video icon in the text editor.

  1. In the pop-up window, paste the link to your hosted video.

    • Videos can be hosted on platforms such as YouTube, Google Drive, Zoom, or other video hosting services.

  2. Click Insert video.

  3. Click Save on the lesson.

What happens next

Once saved, the video will appear embedded directly inside the lesson. Anyone with access to the lesson (teachers, staff, or students depending on permissions) can play the video without leaving Teach ’n Go.

Troubleshooting

  • Video not displaying? Make sure the video link is publicly accessible or shared with the correct permissions.

  • Video won’t play? Check that the hosting platform allows embedding.

  • Wrong video showing? Edit the lesson and replace the link.

Embedding videos is a simple and effective way to share learning content while keeping everything organised within Teach ’n Go.
