Teach 'n Go supports 26 languages. Anyone using Teach 'n Go — admins, teachers, students and parents — can switch the language from the flag menu, and a school default decides what people see before they choose.
Your school may use different names for students, teachers and classes. If you don't see the menu items below, ask your admin to check your permissions.

Changing the language
Click the flag in the top right corner of the screen.
Choose a language from the list.
The page reloads in the new language. The same flag menu is in the student and parent portal and on the login page.
The choice is remembered by the browser, not saved on the account. It stays for about a year on that computer or phone. On a different device or browser, or after clearing browser data, the person sees the school default again and picks their language once more. People who share one browser also share its language.
School default language
Go to Settings → General → Localization.
Choose a Default language.
Save.
Everyone who hasn't picked a language from the flag menu sees this language — admins, teachers, students and parents alike. It also applies to your public pages, such as the Prospect registration page.
Portal in one language, admin in another
There is no separate portal language setting. To show families one language while staff work in another:
Set the Default language to the language families should see, for example Italiano.
Each admin and teacher clicks the flag and picks their own language, for example English, once on each device they use.
In the portal, choosing English from the flag menu switches back to the school default language. If your default is not English, portal users cannot stay in English this way.
What is translated
All system words are translated, such as navigation, headings, buttons and lesson days.
Anything your school types in is not translated — notes, messages, student names and class names stay in the language they were written in.
