You can add prospects (leads who are not yet enrolled students) to a lesson so they can try a class before joining. This guide explains how to add a prospect to a lesson and what happens once they attend their trial.

Before you start

Make sure the prospect is already added to your People list as a Prospect.

If not, create them first.

Prospects can be added:

Adding a prospect to a lesson

1. Go to the lesson

  1. Open Classes & events, your Dashboard or the Calendar.

  2. Select the lesson you want the prospect to trial.

2. Click Add prospects

At the top of the lesson page, select Add prospects.

You will see a list of prospects to add to the lesson.

3. Choose the prospect

  1. Look for the prospect in the list.

  2. Click their name to add them to the lesson.

  3. Confirm and save.

After adding a prospect, Teach ’n Go will show them under Prospects.

  • They will not be charged for this lesson.

What happens after the trial

Attendance

You can mark their attendance just like any student. Attendance is noted in the prospect's profile, and the prospect's status is updated to Attended Demo.

Notes

You can add notes about how the lesson went for the prospect and if it's a good fit. This info is saved in the prospect's profile.

Converting a prospect to a student

If the prospect decides to join the class:

  1. Go to their profile.

  2. Click Convert to student.

  3. Enrol them in the class normally.

Tips

  • Add notes to the prospect’s profile after the trial to track interest and next steps.

  • You can add multiple prospects to a single lesson if needed.

  • Prospects do not receive lesson-related reminders unless they are fully enrolled.

Summary / next steps

Adding prospects to lessons helps you manage trial sessions smoothly and track who is interested in joining your school. Once a prospect completes their trial, you can convert them to a student and enrol them in ongoing classes.
