There are a few steps involved in setting up online payments.
Creating a Stripe account
Get your Stripe publishable key and secret key
Add your keys to Teach 'n Go
1. Create a Stripe account
Log in to your Stripe account. If you don't have one yet, create an account. The name of the account you create will be shown on customer receipts when payments are made, so it's best to use something that your customers will be familiar with.
2. Get your Stripe publishable key and secret key
Follow the below steps to get your keys after you have logged into Stripe. Make sure you are not in test mode.
Click on the Developers button at the top right of the page.
Click on API Keys from the developer menu on the left-hand side.
Click on Create secret key. Keep this key safe, as you'll only ever be able to see it once in Stripe.
3. Add your keys to Teach 'n Go
Log into your Teach 'n Go and go to the School Settings page. Only admins will be able to complete this part. In the Stripe Payments tab, ensure the checkbox to enable payments is checked. Next, add the stripe publishable key and the secret key you created in the previous step. Make sure to click save once you're finished.
