The "Book Lessons" feature in Teach 'n Go enables both new and existing students to sign up for lessons based on their preferences. Utilising this feature, schools can streamline the lesson booking process and enhance the overall user experience for students. This feature works particularly well for personal lessons.

The Book Lessons process involves a series of steps to set up. Let's explore these steps in detail.
1. Set Teacher availability
Begin by defining teachers' availability, indicating the times they are free to conduct lessons. These designated times will be the options presented to students for booking.
To do this, navigate to the teacher's profile and access the Availability tab. Then, click on the Edit Time button to specify the recurring availability schedule, including the days of the week and corresponding time slots. Remember to save your changes.
2. Create bookable lessons
Proceed to create bookable lessons by accessing the Class & Lesson Booking Page tab within the School Settings page. Click on 'Add a Bookable Lesson' to initiate the process.
Fill in the necessary details in the bookable lesson form. You have the option to include multiple teachers for the same subject, providing students with a choice of instructors and available time slots.
Upon completion of these steps, students can proceed to book lessons through the dedicated book lessons page. This page's link can be found within the Class & Lessons Booking Page tab in the school settings, which can be shared with students or integrated into your school's website. Existing students will also have access to this page via a new menu option in the school portal portal.
Additionally, you can enable the 'Take Upfront Payments' option, allowing students to pay in advance. To enable this feature, ensure you have set up PayPal or Stripe payments in Teach 'n Go.
How it Works for Students:
If they choose the Book Lessons option, the students will see the available bookable lessons and teachers on the designated page.
They can select their preferred lesson and teacher, choosing from the available time slots specified by the teacher's availability.
After selecting a suitable time slot, students will proceed to register as new students or log in if they are existing users.
If upfront payments are enabled, students will be directed to make the necessary payment via Stripe or PayPal.
Upon successful enrollment, students will receive a confirmation email, while the school admin will also be notified of the registration.
This feature simplifies the booking process for students, allowing them to choose from available lessons and teachers, select suitable time slots, and complete their enrollment with ease. Moreover, the option to enable upfront payments adds further flexibility and convenience for both students and schools.
