With Teach 'n Go, you can efficiently handle bulk direct debit requests by creating an XML file that outlines all the payments you intend to request through your bank. Follow the steps below to successfully process SEPA Direct Debit transactions:
Adding Your School's Bank Details
Navigate to the School Settings pages.
Switch on the SEPA payment method in the SEPA payments tab.
Complete the presented form with accurate school bank details.
Verify and save your details to avoid any processing issues.
Adding Customer Bank Details
Enter customer bank details in student or related contact profiles.
If a related contact manages payments for multiple students, enter the details under the related contact once.
Select SEPA DD as the preferred cash payment method and fill in the required bank details.
Create the XML file
After adding the school and customer bank details, you can create a SEPA DD file in XML format.
To create the file, go to the Payments section, click the Overdue Payments tab, and click the Export SEPA button.
Teach 'n Go will identify related contacts and students with SEPA DD as the preferred payment option and if they have outstanding amounts on file.
You may select specific students and overdue payment periods for inclusion in the file.
Upload the File to Your Banking System
Download the XML file from Teach 'n Go.
Upload this file to your banking system to initiate the direct debit payments.
Create Automatic Receipts
After the file has been created, you can generate automatic receipts for all payments listed in the SEPA DD file.
In case of declined payments, delete the corresponding receipt in Teach 'n Go, and the fees will be marked as outstanding again.
This streamlined process ensures efficient handling of SEPA Direct Debit transactions, from initial setup to creating receipts for successful payments.
