Managing Notifications for the TeachKloud App on iOS/Apple Devices
Updated over 2 months ago

In iOS, notifications disappearing from the lock screen after unlocking the phone is a default behaviour. However, you can adjust your notification settings to make them more persistent or to keep them in the Notification Centre even after unlocking your device.

Here’s how you can try to manage notifications for specific apps like TeachKloud:

  1. Show Notifications in Notification Centre:

    • Go to Settings > Notifications.

    • Tap on the TeachKloud app

    • Make sure Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners are enabled under "Alerts."

  2. Set Notifications to be Persistent:

    • In the same Notifications settings for each app, you can select Banner Style.

    • Choose Persistent. This way, the notification banner will stay on the screen until you dismiss it.

  3. Group Notifications by App:

    • In Settings > Notifications, scroll down to Notification Grouping for each app.

    • Set it to By App to make it easier to see individual notifications for TeachKloud, Gmail, etc., grouped together.

  4. Check "Show Previews" Settings:

    • Go to Settings > Notifications > Show Previews.

    • Choose Always to ensure notifications are displayed fully when they arrive, even on the lock screen.

Despite these adjustments, iOS does not provide a built-in option to keep notifications on the lock screen after unlocking without manually managing them through the Notification Centre. You'll still find them in the Notification Centre, but they won't stay on the lock screen once the device is unlocked.
