What are timed schemes?
Do you want to manage under attendance and track what hours children do under specific schemes? Then you're in the right place!
Timed schemes allow you to add specific attendance start and end times (for example, 9:00–12:00) to a child and link these times to a particular funding scheme.
This provides clear, auditable evidence of:
When a child attended
Which scheme funded that attendance
How different sessions in the same day are funded
We encourage you to read the full example on how timed schemes work and reporting here.
It is not possible to use weekly and timed schemes at the same time, once converted all reports from the conversion date will use the timed scheme template. It is important that you complete set up for all schemes under timed schemes to increase report accuracy.
How to convert?
Follow the below steps for each weekly scheme you have:
Select attendance schemes > weekly schemes
Scroll down and select convert to timed schemes (right corner)
Under the Timed scheme tab, select add children next to the relevant scheme
Add each child's relevant hours, days and sessions
Repeat the above steps for every weekly scheme you have until all schemes have been converted.
We encourage you to keep your schemes up to date, once changes are made to a child's subsidy, update same on TeachKloud to increase compliance.
I have already converted, I want a step by step on editing or adding new children to existing timed schemes
