Apple's iOS and Google's Android systems have evolved to contain very robust data permission regimes and, in general, apps ask your permission to access your data because they are needed for specific functions.
TeachKloud is asking me for storage permission / I cannot sign document's, I press 'done' and nothing happens
TeachKloud asks for permissions such as storage when you download the app. This is to enable you to perform functions like document signing or downloading images/videos to your device. If you selected no to these permission requests when downloading the app, you will not be able to use TeachKloud to complete tasks like signing learning stories, accident forms or downloading images.
To Give Storage Permission, Follow the Instructions Below:
Option 1: Device Settings > TeachKloud (parents app or childcare app)
Go to the settings of your device and find the TeachKloud app.
Select the app
Give permissions for photos and camera. Photos should be set to allow access to ALL photos. Please also give access to location (if applicable). Tip: Turn on notifications, if you’d like to receive notifications.
Option 2: Re-Install and Allow Permission Requests
Re-install the app, ensuring that you allow ALL permission requests when prompted. If you only allow access to “selected” photos for example, you won’t be able to sign documents. Please ensure you allow access to “all” photos and any other permission requests.
