If you are a childminder in Northern Ireland, needing to provide access to your social care work inspector, please follow the instructions below.

Please read the below carefully and follow exactly as instructed, to ensure access and removal (data safeguarding) when needed.

Give Access to My TeachKloud Account:

  1. Click here (Web Management Account > Staff > Staff List)

  2. Select Invite Staff (top right hand corner). Invite the inspector using their professional email.

  3. The inspector / manager will receive an invite email. They must follow the instructions in the invite email (download and create an account on the app). They will now be able to see the information on the TeachKloud: Childcare App, for your account.

However, you may also want to give them access to the web account (see below). Please only do this after the inspector has created an account using the app and only if they require access to the web management account:

  4. Once they have created an account via the TeachKloud: Childcare App, click here and use the three grey dots next tot heir name to make them an assistant administrator**

  5. They will receive an email with instructions. Please advise them to follow these instructions exactly as written.

  6. Once they are finished with the inspection, you can remove them from your account by going to Staff > Staff List, select the three grey dots next to their name > remove. We would recommend this to safeguard your account, when a person no longer needs access to your TeachKloud account.

What is an Assistant Administrator?**

AA's have access to your full account, excluding billing parents, TeachKloud subscription and the account profile. This is great for inspectors, because they can view information such as attendance reports, policies and more using a desktop/laptop.
