What is ParentPays?
ParentPays transfers the cost of your TeachKloud subscription to your parents. Everything is handled by TeachKloud and Parents pay via the TeachKloud for Parents App! It's hassle free and easy to switch!

How do Childcare Services Switch Over to ParentPays?
Sure! Using the main admin account:
Click here > Select Childcare Pays.
Choose all children using the select all box or click on the relevant children individually.
Select Move multiple children TK Subscription to Parents. TeachKloud will send an email to parents showing them how to purchase a subscription.
Email hello@teachkloud.com at least 2 working days before your next renewal requesting a reduction of your subscription to the minimum number (5).
Please note: Child profiles stay inactive until parents pay, so encourage immediate payment. If moving children to ParentPays, email us at least 2 working days before renewal to reduce your subscription. We recommend 7 days for best results.
Informing Parents
TeachKloud will automatically email parents with simple steps to activate their child’s profile when you switch over to parent pays. We also recommend letting parents know about the switch in advance, including the go-live date.
You may also share this parent information page in advance of switching over, so parents know what to expect.
Once a child is moved to ParentPays, payment is required before the profile becomes active for both the service and the parent. If a parent misses the email, they can simply log into the app, where a payment prompt will appear.
FAQ's
Can I move payment back to the childcare service, after switching over to ParentPays?
Yes! This can be done at any time! To begin, click here > under Parent Pays, select the green button Move TK Subscription to my Childcare Service. Follow these steps, for each child you wish to move.
Please note: If the childcare service wishes to reduce their subscription (i.e. on the childcare pays side), please email us at least 2 working days before your renewal.
Is there a contract for parents/pricing?
No! Parent's can cancel at any time and payment is 4 euro/dollars/pounds (depending on the region of the childcare service), per month, per child profile. Only 1 parent needs to pay per child profile, and the profile will be visible to all invited parents/guardians of the child. If the parent cancels the subscription, the childcare service is notified via email and will need to take over payment of the profile, if they wish to use the child profile.
