I want to switch over to parent pays, how do I do it?

Move all or some of your children to parent pays subscription, to save on your TeachKloud Subscription!

What is Parent Pays?

Parent pays enables childcare services to move payment responsibility for TeachKloud, for some or all child profiles over to parents. This can reduce your subscription by up to 100%! Questions? Read the help article below and FAQ's or contact us.

I want to switch over to Parent Pays, how do I do it?

Please follow all steps closely, including emailing us to reduce your subscription, if moving some or all children to parent pays, at least 2 working days before your next renewal.

Instructions for Admin:

As the main admin, log in and:

  1. Click here > Select Childcare Pays.

  2. Choose all children using the select all box. If selecting some children, select the box next to each child's name, you wish to move.

  3. Select Move multiple children TK Subscription to Parents (green text, on the right side of the screen).

Please note: child profiles will not be active for you or the parent, until the parent pays. We recommend encouraging parents to pay immediately, once the payment request is issued.


Subscription Management (Important):

  1. Inform TeachKloud support : hello@teachkloud.com or use the live chat button, if you’re moving all or some of your children to Parent Pays, so your subscription can be adjusted accordingly.

  2. Ensure you notify TeachKloud at least 2 working days before your next renewal to avoid extra charges, as refunds are not provided.

Inform Parents (Recommended):

  1. Notify parents about the transition to Parent Pays, including the date when the switch will occur, in advance.

  2. Use this parent information page, to share details about TeachKloud’s services and pricing with parents, encouraging them to pay for their child profiles immediately after the switch.

  3. After the child profile is moved over to Parent Pays, parents will receive an email asking them to complete the payment for their child’s profile. This payment is required immediately, for the profile to be activated and usable by the childcare service and the parent.

  4. If parents don’t see the email, they can simply log into the app, where a payment prompt will appear.

By following these steps, parents will be prompted to pay for their children's profiles immediately, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free transition.


FAQ's

Can I move payment back to the childcare service, after switching over to parent pay?

  • Yes! This can be done at any time! To begin, click here > under Parent Pays, select the green button Move TK Subscription to my Childcare Service. Follow these steps, for each child you wish to move.

  • Please note: If the childcare service wishes to reduce their subscription (i.e. on the childcare pays side), please email us at least 2 working days before your renewal.

Is there a contract for parents/pricing?

  • No! Parent's can cancel at any time and payment is 4 euro/dollars/pounds (depending on the region of the childcare service), per month, per child profile. Only 1 parent needs to pay per child profile, and the profile will be visible to all invited parents/guardians of the child. If the parent cancel the subscription, the childcare service will need to take over payment of the profile, if they wish to use the child profile.
