Assessments can be completed in both Online and Offline formats. To complete them, please look at the following steps to decide how best to access your assessment.

Completing an Assessment Online

There are two ways to get to assessments via the online screens, shown below;

Option one, from the home screen straight into the assessment

From the Home screen, click on the "Complete an Assessment Online" option

Then enter the Assessment reference, and click "Okay"

Then fill out the Assessment to your desired completion
On clicking "Finish" A validation rule will run to confirm if the Assessment meets minimum validation, in which case, it can be submitted and moved to a different status. If it does not meet the minimum validation, the Assessment cannot be checked into the system

Option two, through the assessments screen

To access an assessment in this way, one should click the "Assessments" button on the home screen

Then filter down the system based on the organisation, assessment type, and any other appropriate filters, for example, below we filtered based on assessment type, and organisation

You can then click on the checkbox for the assessment, then click "Complete Online"

COMPLETE AN OFFLINE ASSESSMENT

To complete assessments in an offline capacity, you will need to install PAF Reader, which can be downloaded from this support site. Just search for "Downloads" from the main page.

As with the online completion method, there are two ways of retrieving the PAF from the Assessments System

Option one is to go straight from the home screen

Enter in the audit reference

Click "Okay"
Ensure the language selected is correct (this is dependant on the language your profile is set to)

Option two - through the assessments screen
Similar to the previous, of completing an assessment via the online system after entering the assessments screen and filtering the organisations and assessment types down, click on "Download" instead of "Complete Online"

Open the downloaded file using PAF Reader, then, click the button to expand the question list.

Complete the assessment by choosing questions from the list on the left of the screen and adding the appropriate Primary and Secondary responses on the right, under the Response tab.

A Corrective Action can be raised by clicking the Corrective Actions tab, selecting a Deadline for completion, and entering in the details for the action.

To check your progress and to validate your assessment, click Submit at top of the screen, and then select Submit as Under Review.

Your assessment will be validated and if any questions fail validation, you will be advised of the reason for this. You can then make the appropriate amendments to your assessment before attempting to submit again.
