Canceling your shift can be straightforward if you follow these steps:
Withdraw your shift before you’ve been chosen You can remove your application before you’ve been accepted very easily.
Tip! When signing up for a shift, you can choose to have your application automatically withdrawn if you haven’t been selected by a certain time. You decide how many hours before the shift starts: 3, 6, 12, 24, or 48. This way, you won’t get picked last-minute when you might not be available anymore.
Cancel after you’ve been accepted for a shift When you’ve been hired for the shift but you’re no longer able to make it, you can cancel the shift without consequences if you do so within the cancellation term (up to 48 hours before the shift).
To cancel the shift, follow these steps:
Go to your 'Dashboard' and click on the specific shift.
You’re in the shift details now. Click on 'Cancel my shift'.
Confirm by clicking on 'Cancel shift'.
At the top of the page, 'Hired' will change to 'You cancelled'.
Important: cancellation term
If you wish to cancel your shift at the last minute (you’re not on time to cancel it in accordance with the cancellation term), remember our cancellation policy:
Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: No consequences.
Cancellation within 48 hours of the shift: It will be marked as a no-show, which can make your profile less attractive. You might also receive up to two strikes per late cancellation.
Note there is no substitution on Temper Staff. Finding replacements is not your responsibility. So make sure you can commit.
A no-show or late cancellation might lead to up to two strikes on your profile. Accumulating 3 strikes could result in a ban from the platform. Always do your best to cancel on time to keep your profile in good standing.
