Sometimes, life happens, and you might need to cancel your shift. No worries—it's easy to do! Just head to the Temper Staff app and find the shift in your shift overview to cancel.
What happens to your contract?
When you cancel your shift, your contract with Temper gets automatically cancelled too. This means your labour agreement is no longer, and you won’t have to worry about any further implications.
Cancellation period and no-shows
Keep in mind that there is a cancellation period for your shifts:
If you cancel 48 hours before your shift: You’re in the clear—no consequences!
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your shift: This will count as a "no-show”, which negatively affects your attendance record. It could also lead to two strikes.
Keep in mind, that an unjustified late cancellation could lead to two strikes. Read more about the strike system here.
Also, remember that Temper doesn’t have a substitution process, so you can’t swap shifts with someone else.
