If you are moving devices between Dashboards, they will need to be removed from the existing Dashboard before you can assign them to the next.

How to remove devices from an organisation's Dashboard
Please note: you can not remove a device from a Dashboard whilst it is assigned to a project or site. See how to unassign a device from a project or site here 👈
Log in to the Tended Dashboard
Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the page
Click the "Devices" tab
Click "Remove devices"
Select which devices you want to remove*
Remove all devices by clicking the "Select all" check box
Remove specific devices by clicking the check box to the left of the device ID
Once you've selected the devices to remove, click "Remove selected device(s)"
A modal will pop up, click "Confirm"
You'll get confirmation that the device(s) has been removed from the organisation's Dashboard
You'll now be able to assign the device(s) to another organisation's Dashboard
*you can not remove devices from a Dashboard if they're assigned to a project. First, unassign devices from a project. Click here to find out how 👈
